Glowforge 3d Printed Accessories

These 3d printed accessories for the Glowforge are made in house at Foothills Laser Supply. Currently hold down pins and a pin rack are available. Additional products for the Glowforge and other lasers are coming soon. Three colors; Black, Dark Grey, and Orange, are available now. Additional colors will also be added over time.

The hold down pins are modeled after the pins commonly cut from wood. The 3d printed pins have a significantly stronger hold and resist breaking. The stronger hold is needed when attempting to flatten warped wood against the honeycomb tray. At Foothills Laser Supply we use a mix of the 3d printed pins and wooden pins depending on the holding strength needed.

The hold down pin rack will hold 24 to25 of the wooden or 3d printed pins depending on thickness of material. At Foothills Laser Supply we used double sided tape to secure the pin rack to the top of the Glowforge so the pins are always within easy reach.

All Foothills Laser Supply 3d printed products are made with PETG. PETG is a strong plastic that is slightly flexible. PETG is recyclable and laser safe, so if you accidentally run the laser across the pin there is no worry about harmful fumes. All Foothills Laser Supply 3d printed products have a 1 year warranty against breakage, this does not include accidental laser cuts. Just send us a photo of what broke so we can improve our design and we will send you a replacement.
